It is a village in the district of Kottayam. This is a hill station and a remote location for a specific tribe who has inherited for many years now. The place is under the department of Forests. The place will not be found in Google map and there will not be any mobile network. This is one of the places in the state where elephants are found in huge number. The nearest railway station is Kottayam and you can hire a taxi from here to reach Njandukulam.  

Vattavada





Located in the district of Idukki, 45 kms east of Munnar is a scenic village. The journey involves a ride through the tea gardens of Munnar, reach the top and then travelling on the road through the thick eucalyptus forests to reach the village. On the way we can also see Mattupetti dam. There are fixed timings to cross the check post, so we need to be aware of that before travelling to the place. The main source of income of people in village is farming and is also known as vegetable village. The large plantations look like a well crafted art.
